Invictus International School Phnom Penh is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Training and Updates: All staff members receive regular training, updates, and information on safeguarding procedures. This ensures they are well-informed about the latest practices and guidelines to maintain student safety.

Reporting Concerns: Staff are required to report any concerns they may have about a child's safety or well-being to the Designated Safeguarding Leaders. This ensures potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.

Safeguarding Policy: All staff members are familiar with the school’s Safeguarding Policy, which outlines expectations for working with children and families. The policy covers a wide range of topics related to child protection and safety.

Staff Code of Conduct: A Staff Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for the behavior and actions of all adults in the school. It includes guidelines on appropriate interactions with students and maintaining professional boundaries.

Collaboration with Outside Agencies: The school works collaboratively with external agencies—such as social care, health services, and the police—when necessary, to support children and families. This reflects a proactive approach to addressing concerns that may extend beyond the school’s immediate scope.

Safety Education: Safety education is embedded in the curriculum through Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE) classes. These lessons equip students with the knowledge and skills to keep themselves safe in various situations.

Educational Visits and Trips: Students are thoroughly prepared for off-site activities through discussions about potential risks and appropriate strategies for managing them. This proactive approach ensures students are equipped to handle challenges that may arise during such experiences.
